  1. University assistant (1963-1973);
  2. Scientific researcher (1973-to date); work during this period of time:
    • Creation and development of a Laboratory for Biophysical and Physiological Explorations at the Anthropological Research Center of the Romanian Academy (1975-2001);
    • Creation of the theoretical and experimental field named Integronics (1977-2001);
    • Creation of an electrographic method for medical-anthropological diagnosis (1980-2001);
    • Creation of a Palm and Plantar Electrography Room (EPPG), with support from the board of the Bucharest University Hospital (1994-1999);
    • "Iuliu Hatieganu" Award of the Romanian Academy (1995) for the book "Auras of bodies. Interfaces with the Cosmos", "Enciclopedica" publishing house, Bucharest, 1993;
    • Coordination of the organization of the "Fr. I. Rainer" Anthropological Research Center Symposion, "Anthropology Now and in Perspective", Romanian Academy Aula, 1996; coordination of the publishing of the volume holding the symposion's papers (1997);
  3. Associated professor with the Ecological University of Bucharest, where Dr. Guja first started the following items:
    • the first course on Ecological anthropology in Romania, presented at the Ecology College (1998);
