STUDII SI CERCETARI DE GEOLOGIE, GEOFIZICA, GEOGRAFIE, SERIA GEOFIZICA)
was founded in 1963 by the Romanian Academy. It appeared under its
first name until 1964 and received the present name in 1990. It is
now published in one volume a year (1 issue of about 140 pages).
The Journal publishes original research studies, short notes and comments,
as well as books and web page reviews in the fields of: geodesy and
gravity, seismology and physics of the Earth's interior, geomagnetism
and aeronomy, atmosphere physics, hydrology, remote sensing as research
instrument, exploration geophysics (seismics, gravity, magnetometry,

Instructions for authors
Authors are invited to submit suitable manuscripts in duplicate to
the Editorial Board, Studii si Cercetari de Geofizica, 19-21 J.L.
Calderon Str., R-70201, Bucharest-37, Romania
Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article is
original and unpublished and it is not being considered for publication
elsewhere.

paper must be submitted also on diskette.
The title page should include: the title (upper case bold letters),
Name(s) of author(s) (upper case letters) and their affiliations (italic),
all centered. The various headings should be clearly differentiated
and first order headings (upper case bold letters) should be numbered
